Here's just a little update before I go on my senior trip. Jr/Sr Banquet was very exciting and fun! The Juniors and their sponser (Wendy Jarvis) did a really awsome job planning such a perfect day for us seniors! I will be posting pictures of the banquet after I get back from our trip.. The auction went really well, we raised aprox.. $3,500!! I was a little upset though that the headboard that someone donated was worth $1,800 and we sold it for $35.00... Oh well. And now the Senior Trip that LeAnna, Anthony and I have been planning for months, has finally arrived. We will be leaving tomorrow around 5:00 a.m... So I will post pictures of that also when I get back... 'Til then

wow! It's been awhile since I've blogged! I need to get back in the habit of doing it, so I will just tell you what I've done today. Since there's nothing really else to blog about. Ok, I got up today at around 7:30 and got ready to go with the youth group. We went to the bowling alley in Asheboro. It was quite fun. I believe I came in 3rd place. yay me! lol After about 3 games of bowling we left. Outside of the bowling alley place there was a tall guy that was jumping. lol No jumprope or anything. It made me laugh! Anyway, then we went to Zaxby's for breakfast/lunch. I ordered the chicken finger plate! Oh my goodness, their chicken there is sooo good! mmm :) Then we came back to the house where we have watched movies and I made some cappachino. I called my cuz Jocilyn while Anthony went down to the shop and worked on the four-wheeler and actually got it running. So I got off the phone and jumped on the four-wheeler with Anthony and we went mudding in the rain. I'm probably going to be soo sick tomorrow. I have already been sick with a bad cough. But anyways, I just got out of the shower and I'm going to go get some supper. I'll try to keep up on my blogging.

Our youth pastor and wife took our youth group to Boone to go snow tubing. When we got there the man said it was 12 degrees! Brrr... I could've used some more layers! Besides being freezing, It was a really good day! Here are some pictures to prove it...

It was Isaac Newton's Birthday!

I suffered from an aneurism last night!

I just saw it on the New York Times bestsellers list, which means someone stole it!

I needed a mental health day!

I have a solar powered calculator and it was cloudy!

I had to much Pi and got sick!

A sudden wind blew it out of my hand and i never saw it again!

My friend fell in a lake and I jumped in to save him, unfortunately my homework drowned!

I got caught in a snowstorm and had to burn it to make fire!

My father had a nervous breakdown and cut it up to make paperdolls!

We ran out of toilet paper.....

I got a phone call from the president!

My cat ate it, then my dog ate my cat!

Fly to Jesus!

Last night I went to the viewing and funeral of Patricia, Caroline, and Anthony Bigger. The saddest funeral I have ever been to! And I've been to alot, including my dad's, nanny barr, and several of my uncles, But never to a mother and her children.
I promised myself I would not cry because when I start crying, its very hard for me to stop. And for the first part of the funeral I placed a couple teardrops, but when they showed the video remembrance of Caroline and Anthony, I lost it. I cried and cried. The video was taken just 3 weeks ago at Christmas time. Caroline sang a beautiful solo of "Here I am to worship" in her little angel costume and Anthony was a little shepherd. Its very sad to think how fast life can change.
On our way back home we stopped at Little Caesars for some pizza. After a service like that, I wasn't very hungry. I just kept thinking to myself, Why would God take away such a beautiful, christian family? Why would He take them away from Brent? But as I thought of the song that was played at the funeral, "My Redeemer is faithful and true" I had to remind myself that God knows what He's doing, Even if we don't. We just have to place our trust in Him.
Caroline and Anthony's casket had a few of their favorite toys in it. A beautiful doll with long, brown hair, A teddy bear, Woody and buzz lightyear. My heart aches deeply for Brent. Theres something physically painful when your see someone you love in a casket, in this case 3 people you love. I asked Mom on the way home "How is Brent going to go on?" I mean yes, they were a Christian family, yes, they're in heaven and he will see them some day, but they were his life. Its going to make his life on earth a whole lot harder without them here. All of a sudden theres a quite, empty house. No sounds of laughter in the air, when he rolls over in bed, she won't be there. I grieve for Brent, And we should all continue to pray for him during these times! I know one thing, I am not going to take my family for granted!
